"The Professor" Backpack shield

"The Professor" Backpack Shield has been tested to surpass the NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIa standards. This covers all your most common had guns including 9mm, 9mm SMG, 357 Mag, 40, .45, 38 special, 380 auto and even the .44 Mag which is required at 6 shots for the NIJ test. 

The Professor was designed for my wife to carry in her school bag while teaching her classes at the Community college she works at, hence the name. With concealed carry now allowed on most college campuses I wanted her to have some form of defense since she is not interested in carrying herself. The dimensions are 12" X 10" X .5 thick, which are slightly larger than the Life Binder, giving more surface area coverage which is perfect for older students and adults. The new 10x12 shooter cut shape also allows it to fit in almost any standard plate carrier when you only need light protection.  At  just 18 oz, it is hardly noticeable in weight and size, and its flexible nature allows it to fit in large purses, briefcases, and satchels as well as backpacks. 
For adults or big kids, you can opt of the XL version which measures 11” x 14” . This size fits in most full size backpacks and will give top to bottom protection  weight is about 1.4 lbs 

The design is very simple. Just slide it into the backpack against the flat part of the bag, label facing out, and you're done.
