This is for a set of 2 Level III ultra light PE 10 x 12" plates. Very light weight at only 3 lbs 4 oz. These plates are made of the most advanced materials and perform much better against 5.56 / .223 type rounds vs Steel level III, and the set weighs about 1/3 that of a level III AR 500 steel set. Spall is also contained much better as the round will enter the first few layers and is contained in the many layers of the 10 mm of UHMW PE that make up these plates. Use as a stand alone for 7.62 x 39 , and 5.56 or with a trauma pad for heavy rounds like .308 and 30.06.These are the most comfortable plates to wear during activity or long hours.
