Life Binder by itself is NIJ tested to exceed level II. This means it has been tested against the most common handgun threats such as 9mm, .40 cal. and even .357 Mag with speeds under 1450 FPS. The pocket system allows you to add an insert of Kevlar, composite, or even steel to the Life Binder to increase the protection to your desired level. The strap design of Life Binder which attaches to the binder spine is Patent Pending and allows free use of the binder rings as well as eliminates additional weight to the rings which could cause an accidental opening and spill the binders contents.
